Cabinet Primping

I should have completed this project a long time ago. As in over two years ago when we first moved in. You see the cabinets above our washer and dryer were a DISASTER. So much so that I was afraid of what might try to kill me when I stuck my hand in there. Nobody is ever allowed to go poking around in those parts because it is THAT bad and would totally call Clean House on me. Although that might not be so bad because I do love me some Neicy Nash. Sorry but I do. Anyways, you should get ready to feel pretty darn special because you are the only ones that will be seeing this mess. So I’m just going to do it and not feel embarrassed, like a bandaid right? Here we go.

Don't look too hard. You might go blind.

See anything you want? You can have it. I went on a bit of container shopping spree at Target yesterday afternoon and decided to clean up ugly once and for all. I spent a little more than I wanted. But can you really put a price on having a sense of peace and order? I think not. Here are the transformed cabinets after 45 minutes of sorting and primping:

Well I think that was a much needed improvement. Have you all made over any of your cabinets lately? Do you have some that you like to keep your dirty little secret?

  2. I love it!

I'm also so very glad to see I'm not the only one with a big bulky eyesore known as a waterheater stuck out in the open next the washer and dryer.

All the wonderful organizing supplies from Target I see everyone blogging about makes me really wish I lived near one. I have to settle for Walmart and Meijer.

I DESPISE the placement of our water heater but I also love hot showers. I feel your pain. Don't forget about Target.com!
